It’s finally summer and the 2013 indoor bouldering competition season is in full swing. This is an exciting year as it will be the first time that team GB has fielded a full squad of Junior Competitors in bouldering. The team has been working hard behind the scenes, ready to take on the best countries in Europe as part of the IFSC European Youth Championships (EYC).

This means big changes to the British Bouldering Championships and some new junior competitions.

Shauna Coxsey 3rd Overall in the World Cup

Despite not being able to compete in the last round of the IFSC Bouldering World Cup in Munich due to a broken leg, Shauna Coxsey was still able to claim a place on the podium by finishing in 3^rd position overall for the 2012 IFSC Bouldering World Cup.

A Team of 6 GB climbers travelled all the way to Singapore for the World Youth Championships last week. After the long 13 hour flight, the team arrived to the humidity and heat of Sentosa Island, on the coast of Singapore.
